Muvakami

For this jam I used my voice as the sound source, and ran it through reverb and Gross Beat. From there I treated the vocal as a sample, chopped it up, rearranged it, and pushed the BPM up to make it feel more lively. Truthfully, I was completely lost on how to approach this at first. But maybe that's what I needed?  being stuck forced me to try things I wouldn't have otherwise, and thus; my discovery: automating Gross Beat. I'd never thought to do that before, and it opened up a lot of creative ways to create new melodies. I’m still working on my progressions (currently learning theory), so I'm hyped to see where I'm at in a few months.
